Funding your currency accounts on Vban is simple, fast, and flexible. Whether you're topping up via bank transfer or converting from another currency wallet, this guide walks you through both options available in the app.
Open the Vban app
Tap the “+Fund” button on your dashboard
You’ll see two funding options:
This option allows you to receive payments or send funds into your Vban account directly from a bank.
After selecting Fund via Bank Transfer, your account details will be displayed showing the information below as applicable to different currency needs:
Account Name
Account Number
Bank Name
Bank Address
Sort Code (for local GBP and EUR payments)
Swift Code (for international USD payments)
Routing Number (for local USD accounts)
You can:
Copy each detail individually
Or tap the “Share” button to send all details at once (via email, messaging apps, etc.)
Use this method to receive funds from clients, platforms, or your personal bank account.
Option 2: Fund via Currency Conversion
This option lets you convert funds from one currency wallet to another within Vban, for example, converting USD to NGN.
Tap “Convert Funds”
Select the currency you want to convert from
Review the conversion summary:
Transaction Fee
Conversion Fee
Daily FX Rate
Amount You’ll Receive
The converted amount will be clearly displayed before you proceed.
Tap Continue to confirm and complete the conversion.
