GETTING STARTED ON Vban

Welcome to Vban, your digital gateway to global payments, virtual cards, currency swaps, and local withdrawals. Whether you're a freelancer, remote worker, or digital nomad, getting started on the app is fast, secure, and hassle-free.


This guide walks you through every step to create your account and unlock the full power of Vban.


Step 1: Download the Vban App

Start by visiting vban.com and click “Download App” at the top right corner of the website homepage.

Choose your platform:

  • Download on iOS – Available on the App Store

  • Download on Android – Available on Google Playstore


Step 2: Create Your Account

Once the app is installed:

  1. Open the app and tap “Create Account”

  2. Choose your sign-up method:

    • Sign up with Google

    • Sign up with Apple

    • Sign up with Email (enter your email and create a secure password)

Step 3: Verify Your Email

Check your inbox for a verification email from Vban. Click the link in the email to confirm your email address and activate your account.


Step 4: Enter Personal and Address Information

You’ll be asked to fill in the following:

Personal Details:

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Phone Number

  • Gender

  • Date of Birth

Address Details:

  • Country

  • State

  • Local Government Area (LGA)

  • City

  • Postal Code

  • Home Address

Step 5: Verify Your Address

To confirm your residential address, upload one of the following documents:

  • Utility Bill

  • Bank Statement

  • Lease Agreement

  • Insurance Document

Once submitted, you’ll receive an email confirmation: “Welcome to Vban” 🎉


Step 6: Tell Us More About Yourself

Help us tailor your experience with a brief questionnaire:

  • Your Employment Status

  • Your Occupation

  • Currencies in which you receive income

  • Your Expected Monthly Income (USD equivalent)

Step 7: Set Up Your Security PIN

Protect your account with a 4-digit PIN:

  • Create a PIN

  • Confirm the PIN to proceed

This PIN will be required for transactions and certain in-app actions.


Step 8: Access Your Vban Dashboard

Once the above steps are completed, you’ll land on your Vban dashboard, your control center for all things money.

Here, you can view your account balances, request virtual accounts, create virtual cards, and manage transactions.


Step 9: Complete Your KYC (Know Your Customer) Verification

To unlock full access to Vban services (e.g. receive payments, swap currencies, make withdrawals), you’d need to complete your KYC:

  1. Go to “KYC Completion” in the app

  2. Grant camera access when prompted

  3. Select a valid form of ID:

    • International Passport

    • Driver’s License

    • National ID

  4. Upload or snap clear photos of the front and back of your ID

  5. Take a selfie to complete verification

KYC typically takes 10–30 minutes. You’ll get a notification once it’s approved.


You’re All Set!

Once verified, you can:

  • Request your global account (USD, GBP, EUR)

  • Share your account details to start receiving payments

  • Create virtual cards and spend online securely

  • Swap currencies and withdraw locally (NGN, XOF, XAF, GHS, and more)
